For most of my life, I've sought leadership positions in anything I do. I've always chalked it up to supportive parents who placed a mantra in my head, "achieving starts with believing." Growing up, I was dyslexic. Seeing life through that lens has always trumped everything else. I had to work very hard to excel at things. But what was natural in my personality was being a leader.
